Since 1946, the Van Gundy Agency has offered a wide range of equine insurance products. This tradition continues today with property and casualty insurance for farms & equine facilities, equine general liability, workers compensation and mortality insurance for all breeds of horses.

For over 50 years Van Gundy, partnering with the Untied States Trotting Association (U.S.T.A.), has provided accident insurance for drivers and trainers in the Standardbred industry.

Van Gundy is currently the leading provider of two insurance programs underwritten by Chubb Insurance.

1. Accident Disability insurance for all U.S.T.A. licensed drivers and trainers under the age of 70.

2. The On Track Driver/Trainer Accident insurance for harness horse training and racing at the majority of pari-mutual tracks and county fairs across the country.

• Canadian Track Accident insurance offers Accident Medical Expense and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage to U.S.T.A. member drivers and/or trainers while racing/training at a covered Canadian Harness Track.
