Canada Track Accident for
U.S.T.A. Licensed Drivers & Trainers

Healthcare in Canada is much different than in the United States; Canada has socialized healthcare. Tracks in Canada are not required to carry any accident insurance on United States drivers and/or trainers. After a U.S. driver had a serious accident at a Canadian track, a need was recognized by the United States Trotting Association to provide coverage for its members. The Van Gundy Agency, together with the USTA, is now offering Accident Medical and Accidental Death and Dismemberment coverage to any USTA licensed driver and/or trainer while racing/training at a Canadian harness racing track.

While accidents can’t always be prevented, we can help with the medical bills after an accident at a Canadian track.

Licensed USTA Drivers and Trainers may select from the following plans:

$10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment
$100,000 Accident Medical Expense
Annual Premium $200

Option 2:
$10,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment
$250,000 Accident Medical Expense
Annual Premium $400
